ANNUAL CERS/HMBP SERVICE

$250

for 12 months

Routine CERS/HMBP assistance

What Does $250 Include?

Facility Information
Routine review and updates to applicable existing facility and contact information.

Hazardous Materials Inventory
Routine review and updates to existing chemical and product information when necessary information is reasonably available.

Emergency Response & Training Plans
Routine review and updates to applicable existing information.

Existing Site Map
Minor edits to an existing usable site map when appropriate.

Annual Requirement
One applicable annual CERS/HMBP submission or certification during the 12-month service term.

Routine Follow-Up
Reasonable routine updates and routine CERS corrections associated with JG Hazmat’s covered work when they do not materially expand the original scope.

What Counts as Routine?

Routine work can reasonably be completed using existing CERS information plus information and documents supplied by the client without requiring JG Hazmat to independently reconstruct, investigate, or comprehensively audit the facility.

Routine work may include:
• routine contact changes
• quantity adjustments
• storage information changes
• adding or removing straightforward products

• validation corrections
• minor edits to an existing usable site map
• normal regulator-requested corrections related to JG Hazmat’s covered work

A change stops being routine when it requires substantial investigation, reconstruction, onsite verification, inventory development, site-map development, operational analysis, or material scope expansion.

Additional work must be discussed before additional work or billing occurs.

What Is Not Included in the $250 Service?

• independent onsite hazardous-material inventory
• comprehensive compliance audit
• required onsite verification
• substantial HMBP reconstruction
• creation or major reconstruction of a site map
• new-facility CERS/HMBP setup
• major ownership, facility, or operational changes

• extensive inspection-correction projects
• general hazardous-waste compliance work
• UST services
• APSA compliance services
• CalARP services
• Tiered Permitting work
• other Unified Program work outside the agreed HMBP scope

A facility having another Unified Program element does not automatically disqualify it from receiving HMBP assistance. It means unrelated program work is outside the $250 HMBP scope unless separately agreed.

Need More Hands-On Help?

Some otherwise manageable facilities may require an onsite visit, physical verification, significant inventory work, or more extensive CERS/HMBP updates. Those projects can be reviewed for a more involved service that generally begins around $500.

New setup, substantial reconstruction, major operational or facility changes, inspection corrections, unusual inventory complexity, ownership or location transitions, and other non-routine situations may require a custom scope. JG Hazmat may decline projects that do not fit its services.
